- Single-stage FRT mode: 5–5.5 lb
- 3-position ambi selector: Safe / Semi / FRT

A Two-Stage FRT for Precision and Speed
Many shooters prefer a two-stage trigger for precise shots: the take-up lets you prepare, and the wall tells you exactly when the shot will break. The FRT-15C3 gives you that feel in Semi mode, plus forced reset performance in FRT mode, in one drop-in trigger for mil-spec AR-15 lowers.
If you want a single-stage pull in both modes, choose the FRT-15L3 Curved or FRT-15L3 Flat. Compare every option in our AR-15 FRT triggers collection, or see the differences explained in FRT trigger types.

FRT-15C3 FAQs
What does two-stage mean on the FRT-15C3?
In Semi mode the trigger has a light first stage (take-up) before you reach a firm wall, then a crisp second stage that breaks the shot. Many precision shooters prefer this feel.
Is FRT mode also two-stage?
No. FRT mode on the FRT-15C3 is single-stage, at about 5 to 5.5 lb.
Does the FRT-15C3 need special parts?
Like other Rare Breed AR-15 FRTs, it requires an M16-profile (full-auto pattern) bolt carrier group, and the manufacturer recommends an H2 or H3 buffer or an A5 system.
